Geo F Trumper Shaving Cream is glycerine based and rightly world famous. Available from Abrahams Store in six intense fragrances from the classic Sandalwood to the most adventurous (in our opinion) Coconut. These creams bathe the face in a rich lather to ensure a smooth, comfortable and equally importantly luxurious shave.

The Close Shave‘s verdict on Trumper shaving cream is “This was by far the fastest, and thickest lather I have ever produced. I am talking only seconds. The brush was full of rich, slick lather that when I applied it to my face it covered it fully and evenly. I couldn’t wait to get through with my first pass so I could lather again. The cream provided an excellent shaving surface with no pulling, tugging, or irritation.” Read the full Close Shave review here.

About G F Trumper

In 1875, George Frencis William Trumper established a barbers and perfumier in Curzon Street in Mayfair, London. Thus establishing a brand that endures to this day, representing quality and excellence in men’s grooming.
Abrahams Store stocks a range of gentlemens requisites supplied by Trumper. These include a range of shaving soaps and creams in myriad fragrance as well as some signature fragrances as aftershaves.
Since those days G T Trumper has become a world wide brand. No stranger to being a film location ourselves, Trumpers Curzon Street premises also featured in Agatha Christie’s Poirot series. References in literature include mentions in Brideshead Revisited by Evlyn Waugh. However, spy literature also echos real life connections.

For your face only

Even Ian Flemings creation, Mr Bond, made admiring observations about perhaps the most famous of these fragrances, Euchris. Trumper is also mentioned in John Le Carré’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. That said the brand only plays a minor part in these novels. However, it comes as no surprise that Trumper would be of interest to the intelligence community. After all, MI5 was based in Curzon Street, a stone’s throw from the emporium for many years.
