Here is the answer; Everything Pots. Everyone needs a pot for their pens or pencils. Perhaps a vintage Keiller Marmalade ceramic pot or a glass candle holder but seldom do you find an aesthetically pleasing pen pot that was made for the purpose.
Whilst the Keiller has the design advantage of straight sides, the pots are quite narrow an too tall for many pens. Aay container with sloping sides tends to reduce the overall storage space but this one is perfect.
In Abrahams Store we’re always being asked by customers for Gift Ideas. Once upon a time we made gifts and sold then at Greenwich Market but having time for such crafts has long gone. Admittedly that was long before we took on Abrahams. These days we search all around the world to try to find gifts that are different, just the sort ot things you’ll not find ‘on the high street’.
It’s only the rare and unusual that makes it into Abrahams Store. We know that the future of the high street relies upon offering something that meets those criteira as well as presenting them in a fantastic setting. However, we also know that not everyone can visit our shop. This was shown in stark reality with our enforced closure during Covid. It took about a month to set up an online presence and about three more for me to write the software that links stock levels between webside and shop systems. (which was a steep learning curve !)
New to Abrahams Store
One of the product ranges we’ve recently found is Roomytown, a niche brand with strong roots in the world of the arts. Founded by Lorena Siminovich this brand delves into the history of art and brings a modern take on iconic items. Whether it’s 19th century pencil designs to 20th century prints, there’s something really special about them. As Lorena herself put it ‘home is where the art is’. Every time she moved, she just had to put a stamp on her new home with new art. As a designer and entrepreneur, she decided to take her experiences and create her own brand: Roomytown. Based in Bath, that jewel of architecural history, Roomytown have inspired us and we hope their products will inspire you.
