Our range of Ox and Stag horn products are crafted in south Cumbria using traditional hand crafting techniques.
The use of animal horn in domestic products goes back millennia indeed ever since mankind started hunting animals, which was, of course even before the development of agriculture in the Feertile Crescent of Mesopotamia somewhere around 20,000 BC.
The working of horn by ‘horners’ contiues around the world and we are lucky enough to have the oldest in the UK almost on our shop doorstep.
